Instructions for measuring a bed with crossbars
Remove the existing mattress from your bed. Then use a wooden or metal tape measure to measure from top to bottom of your bed frame to get the length and then from side to side to get the width.
Once you have the bed measurements, check to see if your mattress gets more than three centimeters into the bed. In this case, we recommend subtracting two centimeters from the width and two centimeters from the length. This will ensure enough air for the mattress to be properly positioned as well as it will be easy to lay.
Now that you have the correct dimensions, you can proceed with your order. For example, if the inside measurements of your bed is 162cm in width and 202cm in length, the dimension of your new mattress should be 160x200cm.
Instructions for measuring a base (bed without crossbars)
Remove the existing mattress from your bed.
Carefully measure the overall width and length of your base, using a wooden or metal tape measure.
Now, that you have the dimensions of the base, you can proceed with the order of a mattress with the exact same dimensions. For example, if the base is 162cm in width and 202cm in length, the mattress dimensions you need to order is 162x202cm.
