ISPA & EBIA
With a genuine interest in people’s need for quality of sleep, we closely monitor technological developments to continuously improve our products. To this end, we are a member of the International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) and the European Bedding Industries' Association (EBIA). We work with them to continuously improve our products to invest in and ensure better sleep quality.
ISO
Since 2010, we have developed and implemented a Quality Management System that meets the requirements of ELOT EN ISO 9001: 2015 with scope for the Production and Trading of Mattresses & Bed Accessories, while since 2021 we have been certified by the accredited Inspection Organization Q-CERT for development and respective establishment of the Environmental Management System, which is in compliance with the requirements of the International ELOT EN ISO Standard. 14001:2015.

The founder of the company, Mr. Vassilis Spinou, began to work on the production of sleep products.
Establishment of elite strom®. First authorized store. Full range of American-style upholstered beds. Spring box bed base with springs.
elite strom® presents for the first time in the Greek market, the Bed Mattress. Swedish-type bed, mattress and bed base in a compact construction.
Inauguration of factory unit of 7 thousand sq.m. Fully vertically integrated production.
elite strom® starts cooperating with the Swedish company TEMPUR® as its exclusive representative in Greece.
Second generation of entrepreneurs. Spyros, Yiannis, Giorgos Spinos. elite strom® becomes a member of ISPA (International Sleep Product Association).
Elite strom® products carry the Ecolabel. The company participates in Furnidec Thessaloniki and Expo Athens. It is expanding its building facilities.
Launches collaboration with the Swedish company Hastens®. Becomes an official sponsor of PAE Panathinaikos for 2 years, fully equipping its training center Sponsors and equips a Nursing Home in Xanthi, Wins the International Technology and Quality Award in Geneva. Invests in mechanical quality control equipment, Launches the first mechanically reclining bed Combines TEMPUR® technology with conventional spring mattresses and launches the innovative Temptation mattress.
Corporate image rebranding
elite strom® successfully participates in the imm International Exhibitions in Cologne and Salone Internationale del Mobile in Milan.
The company presents the new select comfort mattress series specially designed for hotel equipment.
New innovative mattress line Pillow Top is launched. Mattress with top mattress with a zipper.
Collaboration and exclusive representation of Sealy® and Stearns & Foster®
Obtains the license to manufacture Sealy® mattresses in Greece.
The beginning of export activity.
Presentation of the first hybrid mattresses in Greece.
Expansion of building facilities to an area of 14,000 sq.m.
Launch of e-shop, elitestrom.gr
Obtains the license to manufacture Stearns & Foster® mattresses in Greece.
