1979
Vasilis Spinos founded elite strom and opened the first specialized store with sleep products, and a full range of dressed beds /american type spring box/mattress-topper.
1989
Eurosport sports channel broadcasts for the first time, whereas elite strom presents the Bed-mattress in Greek market. Swedish type bed/mattress –topper in a unified structure.
1997
Mrs. J.K. Rowling decides to write the book “Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone” and V. Spinos decides to move elite strom into new privately owned premises of 7.000m2 that will accommodate the wholly vertical integrated production unit.
2000/1
Elite strom participates for first time in a Franchise exhibition,
and receives ISO 9002 certification.
2002
Spyros, John, George Spinos, sons of the founder of elite strom, having so far completed their university studies, are actively involved in company’s management, production management and marketing, constituting the second successful generation of entrepreneurs, Elite strom joined ISPA (International Sleep Product Association) and starts collaboration with the Swedish company Tempur, being its executive representative in Greece,
2003
Its products bear the EC eco-label Ecolabel, it participates in Furnidec exhibition in Thessaloniki and in Expo Athens, expands its premises, while the fever of preparation for the Olympic Games is rising throughout Greece.
2005
Elite strom joined the Franchise Association and the Greeks celebrate the first place of Elena Paparizou in Eurovision song contest for the song “My Number One”, after 50 years.
2006/7/8/9
elite strom starts cooperation with the Swedish company Hastens and becomes the sole representative  in Greece,is the official sponsor of FC Panathinaikos, fully equipping its training center for 2 years, grants and equips a Nursing Home in Xanthi wins the International Award for Technology and Quality in Geneva invests in equipment quality control launches the first mechanically reclining bed (adaptable to any size) combines the technology of Tempur mattress with conventional spring mattresses and launches the innovative Temptation mattress
2011
The brand changes Logo and updates its corporate identity and stores.
